On September 12th, 2015, the University of Toronto Mississauga hosted the Sword Shiai, in which teams of various dojos visited for a practice subject to judgement; that is to say, in short, a competition in which they were to clash shinai. Click here for photos.
On August 16th, 2014, the first ever Masters Kendo Tournament turned out as a huge success. With some of the highest and most esteemed kendoka present, the days were filled with iaido demonstrations, keiko, and kata presentations. Click here for photos.

On June 28th, 2008, the University of Toronto Mississauga boasted its world-class facility to host the 16th Canadian National Kendo Championship. Kendoka from all across Canada came to Mississauga in order to partake in the many opportunities it presented. Click here to see photos and videos.
